I am at Ontario Tech University in the Faculty of Science. My research falls into the intersection of environmental toxicology, bioanalytical chemistry, and bioinformatics. I am very interested in how small changes to minute detail can have large effects on the big picture. My research aims to identify significant patterns present large data sets that indicate when biological systems have been altered by their environment. My long-term goal is to use this information to improve environmental effects monitoring programs.
Ontario Tech University is located in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. Our school is home to some of the most innovative research in Southern Ontario. My laboratory includes a state-of-the-art Aquatics facility and analytical instrumentation and bioinformatics tools to perform multi-omics analyses. We welcome visitors and are always looking for inquisitive people and industrial/government partners to join our diverse research team – please contact me to arrange a tour.
